Optimistic Kitchen Foodie Workshop: #SupportLocal in the #PhillyBurbs, Hosted by Glenmoore Deli

Do you love food and sharing your culinary exploits on social media? Do you live in the greater Philadelphia area and like to eat local and support local businesses? Then we hope you will join us on Sunday October 7, 2018 from 4:30-6:30pm as Glenmoore Deli hosts the very first Optimistic Kitchen #InstaFoodie Workshop: #SupportLocal in the #PhillyBurbs for an evening of fun, food, games, and prizes!

During the workshop, you will get to meet the people behind some amazing local brands from the Philly Burbs and other area foodies, eat tasty bites prepared in house by Glenmoore Deli, featuring products from Gauker Farms, Small Batch Kitchen, and Hound Dog Honey; learn tips & tricks from Optimistic Kitchen for food styling and taking enticing food pictures, as well as enter fun social contests to win prizes!

Finally—your love for food and social networking come together for a unique interactive social experience that you won’t want to miss!

This is going to be a fun evening of food and meeting new foodie friends, but seats are limited. Early Bird ticket prices available through Friday 10/5/18 for $40/each online through Eventbrite and in person at Glenmoore Deli, located at 1941 Creek Rd, Glenmoore, PA 19343. Tickets the day of the event are $50/each. Glenmoore Deli is a cash or check only establishment and you are most welcomed to BYOB to enjoy at the event.

Gauker Farms

Gauker Farms is located in Fleetwood, PA and has been raising quality pastured beef on the same land since the early 1800s. For 9 generations the family has provided beef for tables in Berks County, Chester County, and the Lehigh Valley. They raise Holstein Steers for their marbling and flavor, resulting in delicious local beef that you can feel good about feeding to your family. You can find them every Saturday at the Downingtown Farmers Market in Kerr Park on Pennsylvania Ave in Downingtown, PA from 9am-1pm. They also have CSA packages available to pick up at the market or by appointment at the farm. Small Batch Kitchen

Small Batch Kitchen is based out of Harleysville, PA and creates handmade all natural spreads with locally sourced ingredients. Their fruit spreads are just the right amount of sweet and they also have savory spreads, spicy spreads, and even beer spreads!  All are made with all natural ingredients with flavor combinations that will delight your palate. Hound Dog Honey

Hound Dog Honey is based out of Glenmoore, PA and cultivates different varieties of honey such as Alfalfa, Avocado, Buckwheat, Clover, Goldenrod, Raspberry, Blueberry, Wildflower, Palmetto, and Star Thistle as well as local Chester County honey. They are passionate about producing nutrient-rich raw honey for it’s taste, texture, aroma, and health benefits.
